Join Our Lakeside Yogathon in Support of Mental Health!

8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Ontario Shores,  700 Gordon St, Whitby, ON

On Saturday August 15, 2015 the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario (SSO) will host the first summer edition of the Peace of Minds Yogathon in Whitby at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences.

Yoga has long been seen as a tool for improving mental health. Today many therapists include yoga and other body-focused practices in their work to help relax the mind and reduce stress. Our event is designed to showcase the proven benefits of the practice to a wide audience of all ages and abilities and raise funds for much needed support.

The funds raised from this event will equally support programs and services provided by SSO and Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences.

We hope to see you on August 15th for a great day of yoga in support of mental health!
