Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) is a pioneer and leader in training Yoga professionals who can bring the ancient insights of Yoga into mainstream wellness programs. IYT now offers its Yoga Alliance 200 hour teacher training certification program in Ontario through Principal Instructor Heather Greaves, E-RYT500. The 300 hour advanced program is scheduled for 2010. Integrative Yoga Therapy programs are based on a vision of health as a Unity of body, mind and spirit. Yoga is a vehicle for deepening this experience of Unity and bringing it into the world as a resource for personal growth, healing and awakening. The IYT Teacher Training program gives students in-depth skills to teach yoga for total wellness. Along with yoga classes for the general public, IYT graduates teach Yoga wellness programs in a wide variety of settings, including hospitals, businesses, universities, clinics and complementary health care settings.
