Kaiut Yoga is a new emerging method of teaching Hatha yoga. Heidi studies under Francisco Kaiut, the originator of the method, in Southern Brazil. Kaiut Yoga focuses on slowly and gently working with the body from the joints to improve body functionality. The purpose of this practice is to keep the body mobile as we age to allow for an active life for as long as possible. It is highly therapeutic for people starting to feel the signs of aging - body stiffness, chronic aches and pains. You do not need to be flexible to practice this method nor have practiced yoga in the past.
