Welcome the winter and holiday season with the spirit of life!
In Shambala teachings of spiritual warriorship, life force is called windhorse (Lungta) and is the unlimited energy of basic goodness, inherent wakefulness, the living mind of enlightment.
In preparation for the Chinese New Year of the Dog and it’s spirit of Action – join together for an afternoon of gathering windhorse, vitality and group healing through the General Health & Fitness Chi Gong Form and other energy skill techniques.

Chi Gong is a series of movements that cultivates full body awareness, vital energy, balancing energy channels and centres, toning organs and grounding in deep relaxation.

It is often experienced as a moving meditation. A foundational principle of Qi Gong is that energy follows the focus of our awareness. “Where the mind goes, energy follows” commonly known from the relational Buddhist quote – “What we think - We become”. This internal art is rooted in the Chinese medical model, embedded in empirical study and clinical research, was once reserved for royal families, warriors and healers has since the 1950s grown into a universal method of exercise.
