How do I add my studio/teacher listing?
It is easy (and free.) Just sign up to list your studio/teacher info by clicking on the 'Join our Community' button (top left) to become a Yoga in Canada member
- Read the Terms and Conditions of our Membership Agreement.
- Choose a username name.
- Enter a valid email address.
- Agree to the Membership Agreement.
Once you join our community, you'll be able to post your teacher/studio info; purchase credits and use them to post to your events on the site; Send and receive site messages to other members; and get membership discounts.
Advantages and features of a Featured Yoga Listing?
The featured listing is just that Featured! Take advantage of being seen first on your city page by having your studio/teacher listing at the top of the page. In addition you will have the following features in your listing;
- Photo Gallery
- Video
- Audio Clip
- Special Announcements
How do I upgrade to a Featured Yoga Listing?
Simple click on the 'upgrade to featured listing' link in your control panel. You'll need to purchase credits if you have not already. To upgrade from the basic yoga listing will cost 2 credits.
Is it true that I can receive a free Featured Yoga Listing?
Yes! Yoga in Canada is now upgrading all yoga studio/teacher listings to a Featured one that link back to yogadirectorycanada.com. Simply place one of our banners or a general text link on your site that links to Yoga in Canada. Visit the link exchange page to get a banner or text link.
To let us know you have linked back to us login to your control panel and enter the needed URL in the edit your studio/teacher listing form. Once we have verified the link we'll upgrade your listing.
What is a credit and how does it work?
Yoga in Canada works on a micro-payment system which allows you to purchase yoga events in quantity. You pre-purchase a package of credits and then redeem the credits for your event postings, or yoga listing upgrade. For every event that you post, a set number of credits will be deducted from your account. Check out the chart for our current pricing structure.
What method of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Paypal, Cheque and Canadian Money Order. Our prices are in Canadian dollars.
Can I purchase credits with a cheque?
Yes! we accept cheque or Canadian Money Orders for credit purchases, simply fill-in and print the online mailin order form found in your admin area. Note: Orders will not be processed until payment is received. Our prices are in Canadian dollars.
How long are my credits valid for?
There is no expiration date for the credits.
How do I post a yoga event listing?
First login to your control panel. If you already have credits in your account simply click either on 'Yoga Workshop' or 'Yoga Workshop' link under the events posting area. Complete the necessary form then click submit and your event will be posted. If you do not have credits yet, you will need to buy at least 1 credit to post your event. Once you have just follow the instructions mentionned above.
Can I edit my yoga event listing?
Yes, you have 48 hours from the time of your initial posting to re-edit your event(s) without being charged additional credits. Just login into your control panel and use the Edit options to do so.
How long will my event listing stay up on the site?
All event/workshop/retreat listings expire on either the Scheduled End Date OR 7 weeks after the Scheduled Start Date.
What to do if I want advertise on Yoga in Canada?
First inquire about our prices and advertising options here Advertising Rates page. If you are interested in placing an banner ad please send us an email with the artwork (banner), your contact information [for billing purposes], the web address you want the ad to link to and the desired location [right side banner space or on the Yoga Products & Yoga Services page] to advertising@yogadirectorycanada.com
What will happen when my banner ad or featured yoga listing account expires?
Before your featured listing and/or Banner ad account expires you will receive an email asking if you want to renew your account. If you reply yes, you will receive an invoice to your email for the amount owed.
What if I forgot my password and/or member name?
If you cannot remember what your password or member name is, please follow this link, http://www.yogadirectorycanada.com/lostpassword.php and enter in the requested information. You will receive an email with your member name and a link to reset your password.
Why do I keep getting logged out of iStock and have to re-login?
This happens when your cookie expires, usually a 24-hour period.
