January 31, 2007 - Yoga in Canada, Canada's largest yoga directory, for a second year in a row is sponsoring the Atlantic Yoga Conference 2007.

Taking place on November 9, 10, 11, 2007 in Halifax Nova Scotia the conference's theme is based on the second chakra, “The Hara”, our core. Let it support us in connecting to others through feeling, desire, sensation, and movement. Ideally it will bring us fluidity and grace, the ability to accept change. Strengthening the Hara will improve our overall health.

"This year is even better for us! We are working with a Gold Sponsorship this time." says Yoga in Canada director Jennifer Malisauskas. "making it a wonderful opportunity for Yoga in Canada to gain more exposure in the Atlantic provinces. We are looking forward to strengthening and building new relationships with our Atlantic friends."

Feature Presenters this year are Beryl Bender-Birch, the author of the best selling book “Power Yoga” the first book published in English on the asana practice of Pattabhi Jois Astanga Yoga; and Frank Jude Boccio, RYT, an interfaith minister, member of the Tiep Hien Order of Thich Nhat Hanh, certified yoga teacher at the 500-hour level, and currently in dharma training with Zen Master Samu Sunim.
