What to Expect at Yoga Meltdown - July 19, 2009
This year, we have some old favourites and some new additions to enhance your Yoga Meltdown experience. All Yoga Meltdown activities will take place at Toronto’s Centre Island on Sunday, July 19, 2009 and will begin at 12pm and continue until 5pm – and it’s all for FREE!
Free Outdoor Yoga: Facilitated by experienced yoga instructors from The Yoga Sanctuary and Jivamukti Yoga Toronto.
Ayurveda Workshops: A new addition to Yoga Meltdown this year, the Andrea Olivera Centre for Ayurveda will be conducting workshops and demonstrations on the ancient science of Ayurveda!
Mantra Meditation: Whether you’re a veteran practitioner of mantra meditation or have never tried it before, come join us for a soul-stirring experience as our seasoned instructor will lead you to finding your inner peace through sound vibration!
Vegan/Veggie Cooking Demos: Want some practical tips and new recipies? Make sure to check out the cooking demos as our chef extraordinaire whips up some great dishes. The best part? Getting to sample the preparations afterwards!
Kirtan Concerts / Theatrical Presentations: Our massive tent will be “entertainment-central” with rocking kirtans and amazing dramas.
Sunrise Yoga at Casa Loma- Sunday July 12, 2009
Would you love to experience a Sunday morning yoga class in the famous (and fragrant!) Casa Loma Gardens? This is yet another FREE event, but registrations are filling up fast and are mandatory!
