But this singer\/songwriter is no stranger to other musical genres as she has successfully placed most of her songs from one of her previous album, \u201cMiserably Happy\u201d in various popular movies and TV shows as \u201cCheaper By The Dozen\u201d, \u201cShe Drives me Crazy\u201d, \u201cDawson\u2019s Creek\u201d, \u201cParty Of Five\u201d, \u201cSummerland\u201d, Felicity\u201d, \u201cNorth Shore, and many more. In 2006, Lea travels to India for a yoga retreat and discovers music mantras while chanting with true chanting masters and at that very remarkable and unforgettable moment, she decides to pursue yoga and \u201c Chanting\u201d to a more profound level. Upon her return, Lea becomes a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor and begins teaching mantra meditation to deepen her yoga practice and musical expression. Lea\u2019s music can be heard on her website: <a class=\"links\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lealongo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.lealongo.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Alongside Kundalini, Lea also practices Nada Yoga which is considered the YOGA of Sound. Nada Yoga is the \u201ceasy meditation\u201d as she puts it and students always find it easier as a beginner \u2018s introduction to meditation. She started the Montreal Kirtan Community called \u201cMontreal Kirtan\u201d where she offers monthly Nada Yoga in various studios around Montreal. On occasion, she will also teach YOGA VOICE workshops which aims at releasing your voice through the different breathing and voice techniques.
