As a yoga teacher, my main focus is on Moms and on Families, particularly busy Moms and busy Families – ones just like me! I think yoga offers some really amazing tools to help us during the day-to day-ups and downs of our parenting journey. Whether or not we're parents, yoga nurtures our bodies, as well as our mental and emotional well-being by taking a little time for ourselves. So often, we run ourselves ragged in the course of our daily lives - yoga offers us a chance to take care of ourselves, even just for 75 minutes a week. I've been teaching group classes for five years, and I believe in making yoga accessible for everyone, no matter your fitness level or how bendy you are. I want to work with you so you feel better in your body, and my deepest wish for every class is that each and every person leaves the room feeling better than they did when the walked in. I also offer one-on-one and small group sessions. Please visit my website at www.brandypayneyoga.com for more info or to contact me.

Offers classes & workshops in:

Family, Gentle, Mom and Baby, Postnatal, Prenatal, Restorative

Yoga Therapy: You know those aches and pains? The ones that maybe have stuck around for a few years, or maybe they're new. If you're a Mom, maybe they cropped up during pregnancy. And try as you might, they're just not going away. Maybe it's your hips. Or your shoulders. Or something else entirely. Yoga Therapy can help with that. Yoga Therapy is a way of focusing on your body and using the tools of yoga (breath, movement and stillness) to let go of tension – whether that's physical, mental, or emotional tension, or a combo of the three. I work with you one-on-one in private sessions, or in small groups in my registered classes, and then I send you on your way with a 10-15 minute long home practice. How long does it take to see a difference? Well, it depends. Most people take 3-5 private sessions (plus a regular home practice) to see results. Some people find it sooner, some are longer. It really depends on you and how often you're able to commit to your practice. And, I know. You're busy. You've got a lot to do, and very little time to do it in. That's why I focus on short practices, with poses that best support you and how your body moves. I think it's awesome because it's an easy way to help you feel better physically. And the most awesome part? A lot of people find it also helps them feel better, and more grounded, less stressed and more calm in their day to day. Which is especially beneficial for those of us with packed lives. Want to know more? Send me an email or give me a call at 403-993-2473. I can tell you how great it is, but it's so much better to try it for yourself.
