I started my yoga journey over 20 years ago,
in 1994, as I was a troublesome teenager
(who hasn't been there right?).
Teaching yoga was never the plan,
but since it found me, I began to teach in 2012,
after I parted ways with the corporate world.
I spent the first decade teaching a personalized
blend of Ashtanga (8 limbs) & Hatha Yoga tailored
to the expat community (42 nationalities),
residing in New Delhi, India .
As life would have it, I found love,
and that meant leaving India. This move shifted
my teaching online, and allowed me an opportunity
to interact and reach even more people from all
over the world. It also enabled me to build and
expand my teaching style, offering a meditative
form of organic yoga, along with an array of
guided meditations steeped with breathing,
silence and wisdom(s). I completed the Power of
Awareness Certification under Jack Kornfield &
Tara Brach (2022) as a prerequisite course to the
MMTCP (Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification
Program) and have been awarded a 100% scholarship
for The Mindfulness Meditation Teacher
Certification Program (Feb 2023).
Always a sadhak (student) then a teacher.
Offers classes & workshops in:
Beginner, Gentle, Hatha, Meditation, Postnatal, Prenatal, Sivananda, Vinyasa, Yoga for Women
Additional information:
Priyanka is a dynamic yoga teacher who insists on her clients being in the moment -
her surya namaskars (sun salutations) are a spontaneous blend of traditional poses
with variations, in such a way that require the practitioner to remain in the present
and avoid getting caught in an ego trap or getting bored of their yoga.
She enriches the practice by bringing focus & awareness to ones' body, breath,
thoughts and energy centres (chakra's like chuck norris).
âPriyanka is able to weave in mythological stories related to the poses which allows
one to take yoga off the mat (her latest mantra) and into daily life.
